One year ago, our online survey Winning Choice was launched with a good idea, an empty database and some Big Hairy Audacious Goals! Since then we have created 100,000 completed surveys, grown to five staff members, have a new business partner and a new name; Cohort Digital.
So, November 9th is a day to party, because Winning Choice celebrates its first Birthday.
Over the last year Cohort Digital was able to set up a well known digital marketing business with a unique database. Our database consists of leads that have categorically shown interest in specific products and services, which gives extra value to the word lead.
We started with a philosophy of sharing risk with our clients which allowed them to maintain their marketing activities and deliver leads to their sales teams. Our clients only pay for each lead they receive, so they can justify every dollar spent.
This philosophy has led our business to be a successful one. Our database enjoys daily growth and we have been able to expand our business from being a simple online survey to a business that offers a wide range of digital marketing products. The result? We were nominated for the Sydney Business Award 2009.
There was much pride in our Zetland office when we heard that we had been selected as one of the top five businesses in Sydney in the Marketing and Communication sector for 2009.
As the youngest and newest player in the field we did not set our hopes too high. On Tuesday the 20th of October, the Sydney Business Award Dinner was held at the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney. Whilst we didn’t win the category we still had a great night and most important, our clients still think we are winners!
